Savourd is invite-only while it grows in Manchester. Email hello@savourd.co.uk and tell us where in Manchester you eat and drink, and we’ll send you a code. You enter it the first time you open the app, along with the handle you want.
Matching compares your reviews against other people’s on the places you have both been to, so it needs something to compare. Match scores unlock once you have written 5 reviews, and they get sharper as your reviews start overlapping with other people’s.
If you have written more than that and still see nothing, it usually means your places haven’t been reviewed by anyone else yet. Reviewing a few of the places in Manchesterthat everyone has an opinion about gives the comparison something to hold on to.
Tap the button in the middle of the tab bar, find the place, and put it in one of your lists. You won’t be asked for a score out of five — you’ll be asked whether you’d send a friend there, then to compare it against somewhere you’ve already reviewed, or to drag it into position. You can add the dishes worth ordering, a note, photos and the date you went.
Every review and every profile in the app has a report option. You can report offensive or abusive content, harassment or bullying, spam, or a review that isn’t real. The same sheet lets you block the person, which stops them seeing your reviews and stops theirs reaching you.
We aim to act on reports within 24 hours — removing the content, and removing the person if that is what it takes. If it’s urgent, email hello@savourd.co.uk and say so in the subject line.
In the app: Me → Account → Delete account. It permanently deletes your account, your reviews, your photos, your lists, your bests, your want-to-try list and your matches. It cannot be undone and there is no grace period.

Not yet. Savourd only covers Manchester. Recommendations are built out of the overlap between the people using the app, and that overlap has to be built a city at a time — so the next city will come when this one is properly covered, not before.
